My reading list lives in a feed reader again. It took an evening to set up and it has given me back about an hour a day.

Start with twenty

Pick twenty sites you already visit on purpose. Subscribe to those and nothing else for a month. You will be surprised how little you miss.

A chronological list is the most radical feature on the internet.

Keep a slow folder

Long essays go into a separate folder that I read on Sunday mornings with coffee. The rest can wait, and most of it turns out not to need reading at all.
